Ami Horowitz: The Left and the KKK may be separate, but they are equal!

The more things change, the more they stay the same with Leftists judging people along racial lines.

In a masterful example of the art of filmmaking, Ami Horowitz shows that the small portion of the population that comprises the Far-Left have the same misguided ideas about race relations as Democrats and the KKK had in the past. They cast themselves as paragons of virtue and tolerance who take the incredible stance of supporting segregation. It should be remembered that despite the Leftist propaganda, the Ku Klux Klan was formed by southern Democrats to keep African Americans and Republicans out of political power.
The video begins with Leftist students of Columbia University agreeing with the abhorrent notions of segregation. Contrast this with the regular folks of the area being appalled at the idea reflecting the mainstream view of the issue. Then he interviews someone in agreement with the Leftist students of Columbia: A white supremacist and leader of the KKK.

One of the primary differences between Leftists and True Liberals.

This is one aspect of Leftism that Dennis Prager cites as the most obvious of the many moral differences between liberalism and leftism.
The essence of the liberal position on race was that the color of one’s skin is insignificant. To liberals of a generation ago, only racists believed that race is intrinsically significant. However, to the left, the notion that race is insignificant is itself racist.

For that reason, liberals were passionately committed to racial integration. Liberals should be sickened by the existence of black dormitories and separate black graduations on university campuses.
Being of the noble philosophy of the Individualist, true Liberals judge people on the content of their character rather than certain immutable and insignificant physical aspects. Contrast that with the collectivist viewpoint of the Left that group people along racial lines of intersectionality.  This is a complete repudiation of the dream of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr:
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”. Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The nation’s Socialist-Left at present judge’s people by the colour of their skin and yet they are the one’s who project the malady of racism on those working to Conserve Liberty.
This is unbelievable. Leftist students (and white supremacists) think segregation is just great. Meanwhile, in the decent and civilized world, the rest of us know it isn’t. Thanks for enlightening us, Ami Horowitz.
