Does the Left know their socialist national agenda is incompatible with Liberty?

For people who claim to be ‘Liberal’ they certainly don’t seem to advocate Liberty.

The latest Kerfuffle is that Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) commented on the Democrats heading Left, away from the cause of Liberty. Going way over the head of the nation’s favorite socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as reported in the Daily Wire.

The socialist side of the Twittersphere failed to comprehend the point of quoting a Leftist in denigrating the freedom of the individual as a warning for the future. The additional factor being that many cannot fathom that Mussolini and Hitler were of the collectivist ideology of the Left.
He followed it up later on:
You nailed it, Bud. Since so-called Democratic Socialists have forgotten or never learned the lessons of history, and how their ideology is incompatible with freedom, I guess we have to remind or teach them.

Sadly, the purveyors of the ideological legacy of Benito Mussolini and Adolph Hitler either cannot see this for themselves or their prevalence for projection blinds them to the reality of their socialist national agenda. Thus we will cite a few examples to make the point:

Free Speech [First Amendment]

Political correctness is just another name for censorship of competing ideas. It doesn’t matter if some would like to invoke the ‘not in violation of the first amendment’ dodge. The plain fact is that censorship of competing ideas is incompatible with Liberty. It is irrelevant whether this is with a public or private setting or that it touches on Constitutional issues

The Commonsense Human right of Self-defense [Second Amendment]

There cannot be any more of a fundamental freedom than the Right to Life, thus the incessant march towards destroying this right is incompatible to Liberty. No matter if it’s called ‘sensible gun safety’ or ‘gun reform’ the avalanche of new laws infringe on this commonsense natural and civil right, no matter how their labeling.

Property rights

The fraud of socialism means the taking of property from some and redistributing it to others. This is fundamentally incompatible with Liberty. Freedom means one is able to do what they want with their property in the context of legality, free from control by the government.

The Takeaway

Never forget that these people falsely call themselves ‘Liberals’ while doing everything they can to destroy Liberty. People who like to cast themselves as ‘Liberators’ while they push Censorship, Gun confiscation and Wealth redistribution.
Rather than being ‘triggered’ by referring to the words of a Leftist, it is more likely that they cannot abide by the highlighting of their agenda that is hostile to Liberty.

Democratic disaster: The Associated Press is ‘unable to declare’ a winner in Iowa

The Tom Perez, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee has also called for a “recanvass” of the results The  Associated press  just announced that they won’t be able to declare a winner in Iowa.
