The danger for the cultural Marxists incessantly pushing “Critical Theory”.
Perhaps it’s a very esoteric progression that only those steeped in it’s ‘logic’ can fully comprehend, but for many the connection is hard to discern. Or it could be simply a case where those in the socialist-Left echo chamber somehow think it all makes sense because they are the most intelligent around (Just ask them) and they are incapable of logic.
However, there is another aspect this subject matter that should be discussed. This is the danger of the national socialist left in attacking freedom and Western culture out of sheer habit. First of all, it makes them sound like unthinking automatons that react the same in every situation. And secondly, it tends to align them with our enemies and against freedom. The latest example is their knee-jerk reaction to the Anti-Sharia marches that took place over the weekend.
Parenthetically speaking, there always seems to be the public or stated objective to their actions whilst their true intentions are hidden. The stated objective will invariably sound reasonable and positive, but careful analysis will show this to be a ruse in most situations. In the case of the Anti-sharia marches the stated objective is to ‘stand with Muslims’ or some other kind of meaningless boilerplate. Such pretexts can be seen for what they are with basic analysis and logic.
In the case of those marches, it would seem like the national socialist left is standing against individual freedom and for the oppression of Sharia law. This one example belies the left’s disdain for freedom and ostensibly for the implementation of a theocratic regime. Those are hardly the professed objectives of the left and thus the danger for them.
For if they by rote follow a line of attack that is supposed to result in the people embracing the slavery and oppression of Marxism, they end up showing that they are actually betraying the ideas they supposedly defend. Their use of a illogical line of attack shows them to be hypocrites in the strongest sense of the word. In their mechanical zeal to use a theory that is disconnected from their end goals, they are showing themselves to be uncaring of individual freedom. While at the same time they are in effect advocating that which they rail against – a theocracy. This is what happens when you try to force slavery on a free people and you are devoid of intellectual integrity.
