The tragedy shows that liberty control doesn’t work and that these are just incremental steps to gun confiscation. The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the left as being the power-hungry authoritarians they’ve always been. The crisis has just brought them out of the woodwork. Stressful times bring out everyone’s fundamental principles. Those favoring liberty tend to go in that direction. Those favoring the opposite—control—tend to go further towards a control mentality. The current emergency is similar to the daily lives of those suffering under socialistic slavery. Why would anyone want this? Economic devastation. Food shortages. Data from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center shows a downward trend in daily confirmed new cases of COVID-19. Early this morning, the trend indicator for  5-day-average new confirmed cases  for the US from the  Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center changed from   ‘ ▲ UP ’  to  ‘ ▼DOWN ’ . This could indicate that we are past the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak in the states. In addition, we are seeing the same overall trends in the data for the rest of the  world .
